[If he had any sense at all, he'd be backing off already, reminding himself of the last time he'd done this with her, and of how poorly that one went. As it is, though, he's too far gone to even think about it.
And then the cab comes to an abrupt stop, and they both go toppling to the floor.]
[She lands on her back and he ends up right on top of her. Her voice comes out a bit muffled from under him.]
Pay the man. You can bill me later.
[Definitely the alcohol talking. She hasn't cared so little about money since before she lost her fortune. Right now, all she wants is to get them both out of their clothes. The sooner they get to his apartment, the better.]
["This is your stop, right?" the driver asks, and Robb pulls himself up to a less horizontal position and back up on the seat to hand the driver some money, and then open the cab door.]
w/e not too late for me to use this eff the police
[Once they're both out, she doesn't hesitate to pick up where they left off, grabbing him by the shirt collar and kissing him all the way to the door and into the elevator. Going up. She'll leave it to him to remember which floor they should be stopping at.]
[She's lucky he does remember his floor, though his fumbling results in pressing two other buttons besides. Oh, well--it isn't like anyone's going to use the elevator at this time of night. He kisses back, matching her ferocity and lust with his own.]
[By the time they get to his apartment, she's already unbuttoned his shirt, ready to push it off his shoulders. She breaks away from him for a second, letting him fumble for his keys so he can get in. So they're really doing this? Again?
Seems like it.
It's no crime to seek comfort from the harsh onslaught they're facing, is it? Despite all their responsibilities, they're still two dumb twentysomethings at heart.]
[They're doing it again, apparently, and they've gone too far to stop now. He fumbles for his keys, manages to get them both inside, and then, once he's closed the door, pushes her up against the wall to crush his lips against hers.]
